Violinist Heather Elder joined the band in 2007, just before the birth of her second child who, like her sister, is now an ardent fan. As well as playing fiddle, Heather also provides backing vocals for several Rebs numbers, and is enjoying the challenge of learning to pronounce Yiddish. She blogs about klezmer and kid-wrangling (among other things) at Blogorrhoea. |
