Kia ora klezmer lovers
After a stellar 12 months headlining the Wellington Folk Festival, performing at Cuba Dupa and Newtown Festival, and releasing our latest album Back to Futuna (available on line for $15 at https://klezmer.bandcamp.com/album/back-to-futuna-repertoire-best-of-23-1-2-years-of-klezmer-rebs) the Rebs are now in our 25th year as a band.
We perform two shows this weekend with our usual rollicking set of authentic Yiddish and European folk that will have you shake your tuchases!
Mixing delicate slice of life tales from the old country, intricate harmonies, and wild wedding dance music, it’s a unique cultural experience.
The Rebs will feature songs from our new album Back to Futuna recorded at Futuna Chapel in 2025. Come see ‘Reb’ David (mandolin &guitar), Rose (vocals, piano),
Emma on (vocals and accordion), Rob on stand up bass, Sasha drums, and featuring soloists Andre on clarinet and Beans on violin.

Saturday evening 13 June at the Undercurrent
and 2pm Sunday afternoon 14 June at Futuna Chapel in Karori
