Klezmer Rebs new album release – Back to Futuna
On Saturday at the Wellington Folk Festival the Klezmer Rebs will be launching their NEW! record Back to Futuna, which includes a BONUS record Repertoire – The best of 23 1/2 years of the Klezmer Rebs.
Back to Futuna comprises 6 new tracks recorded live at Futuna Chapel. Repertoire features 15 songs – the Best of 23 1/2 Years of Klezmer Rebs.

Come to the Wellington Folk Festival on Labour weekend in Wainuiomata and you can catch the Rebs there. We will perform a feature set on Saturday afternoon 25 October, hold a klezmer workshop on Sunday afternoon and return tot he main stage for the Showcase concert on Sunday evening 26 October.

Klezmer Rebs Live in Concert Double Clarinet Trouble Saturday 1 March 7.30pm
Its double clarinet trouble as supremo clarinettist Urs Signer journeys south from Taranaki to join Wellington-based Reb Andre Nowicki for a two-clarinet attack as the Klezmer Rebs perform a mostly acoustic concert up the coast at the Niblick Hall in Titahi Bay on Saturday 1 March at 7.30pm
Urs, Andre, Emma, Rob, David, Rose and world-roaming trombonist Jonathan will play two sets of an eclectic mix of lively klezmer tunes, Sephardic Ladino love songs, sad slice-of-life story-songs from the ‘old country’, and some of their quirky originals and classic tuchas-shaking authentic klezmer dance tunes.
